Maxima's Datcon, Stewart Warner and AST distribution network covers the globe. Yet, we're ALWAYS looking for partners with whom we can grow our businesses together. Here's how we're organized:
- Datcon Class “A” (Master) Distributor: Distributor set up to support OEMs locally with same- or next-day delivery and technical support; maintains adequate inventory for customer base; may also have a local dealer network
- Stewart Warner Warehouse Distributor (WD): Distributor set-up to service a local dealer network.
- Stewart Warner Class “1” (Master) Distributor: Distributor set up to support Stewart Warner Performance Products (SWPP) and local performance dealers.
- AST Distributor: Distributor set up in Europe to support small OEMs and local dealers.
- “Limited Distributor”: Special distributor set up to carry only one product line or several parts numbers for a local customer—not eligible for access to entire brand product line.
WHAT IT MEANS FOR OEMs
Maxima’s global distribution network deliver products all around the world, and provides local support for certain OEMs. We have distributor-partners set up in North America, Europe and Asia. And, for OEMs who work through local distributors, it is possible to arrange just-in-time delivery even for non-stocking parts.
