Maxima’s instrumentation cover a wide range of "operator interfaces", from custom-engineered J1939/CAN instrument clusters and displays to standard gauges.

HOURMETERS
Maxima’s line-up of hourmeters is the deepest in our industry. Choose either electronic units with quartz movements or the Sentinel™ line with its highly accurate, reliable stepper motor driver, or mechanical hourmeters for specialty applications.  Consider our NEW 2" and mini hourmeters that are fully sealed.  And, we sell Hobbs brand hourmeters through our Stewart Warner distribution network for the heavy-duty aftermarket.

DATCON
  • Electronic: Solid-state hourmeter line is ideal for severe-duty—it’s fully sealed. 4 models: 876 (10-32, 10-50, 30-90 VDC), 871 (same ranges, with 3-hole flange and inhibited option), 873 (10-32, 30-90 VDC; with 3- or 4-hole aircraft mounting and inhibited options); and Mini (10-80 VDC with 2-hole or clip mounting).
  • Lighted Electronic: 2 ranges—10-16 and 20-32 VDC. Amber LED backlighting for indices. Fully sealed. Replaces alternative lighted hourmeters. Ideal for vehicles operating at night, such as transit buses.
  • AC: 3 models—796 (110 and 220 AC with U-bracket), 791 (110 and 220 AC with 3- or 4-hole flange) and 793 (110 and 220 AC with 4-hole aircraft flange).
  • “Mechanical”: 3 electro-mechanical models—776 (4-40, 8-50, 30-130 VDC with U-bracket), 771 (4-40, 8-50, 30-130 VDC with 3-hole flange) and 773 (4-40, 8-50 VDC with 4-hole aircraft flange).
  • Sentinel™: Quartz stepper motor type in four ranges—10-50, 30-100, 801-70 and 160-240 VDC. Easy to install via spin-on fastener. 6 digits. Mounting accessories available, including a vibration dampener.
  • LCD: 9-32 VDC, fully sealed 2-1/16” round and mini units. Easy-to-install via spin-on mounting bracket. Designed for severe-duty use, ideal for off-highway or military vehicles.
STEWART WARNER
Deluxe™, Heavy Duty™ and Heavy Duty Plus™: Units available in complementary graphics for 3 popular Stewart Warner product lines, 10-80 VDC, available with 3-screw and chrome or black flush cup mounting. 2.5” unit available with Deluxe™ chrome flush cup configuration.

AST
Quartz: Standard AST unit in two ranges—12-24 and 36-80 VDC. Highly accurate quartz movement. Front sealed. Six digits with run counter.
