INTEGRATED PRODUCT & QUALITY PLANNING (IPQP)
Maxima uses “Integrated Product & Quality Planning” (IPQP) to plan, organize and implement a new program. Based on Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), IPQP is a QS-9000 certified process that effectively guides the team during planning and implementation.
Program Managers are responsible for IPQP and “tollgates” as the process moves from one phase to the next. They ensure that critical documents, such as Failure Modes & Effects Analyses (FMEAs), the Design Verification Plan (DVP), Controls Plans, and other PPAP requirements are prepared.
DELIVERABLES
The Maxima team identifies “deliverables”—specific items required for the project—before getting started. Deliverables may be spec'd out in a “white paper” and/or referenced in a “Scope of Work”.
CRITICAL PATH
The Maxima team is trained in Microsoft® Project software. Program managers, in particular, keep an eye on the project’s critical path, adjusting for slack time or “crashing” the timeline to ensure an on-time launch.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT
Program managers are responsible for ensuring that all elements of IPQP are completed, and that customers are supported, whether related to deliverables, the timeline and its milestones, documentation, or the launch. This support has earned Maxima its reputation for being customer-driven and committed to achieving program goals.
