PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
Maxima’s program management function ties all activities together to ensure a high-quality result when implementing a project, blending customer requirements in a way that's compatible with OEM requirements.
INTEGRATED PRODUCT & QUALITY PLANNING (IPQP)
Maxima uses “Integrated Product & Quality Planning” (IPQP) to plan, organize and implement a new program. Based on Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), IPQP is a proven, QS-9000 certified process that effectively enables our team to manage complex projects.
DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT AND TESTING
Maxima’s design, development and testing capability is world-class. Our teams, operating from 3 facilities, collaborate with key customers to integrate the “Best of Maxima” in every product we create. As a result, Maxima has become a preferred technical partner for global OEMs.
MANUFACTURING AND ASSEMBLY
Maxima’s unique manufacturing and assembly capability is a core strength. Our facilities operate with lean manufacturing in mind, focusing on one-piece synchronous flow, “pockets of automation” (POA) and automation aimed at mistake-proofing. Each facility is well established as a “center of excellence” for a particular product or capability.
AFTER-SALE SUPPORT
Maxima’s sales, customer service, engineering and technical support associates support customers after launch. And, with our 6-Sigma focus, we are committed to continuously improving the quality and performance of our products over their entire life cycles.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
Maxima is continuously researching and developing new applications, materials, processes and technologies that can be incorporated in our products. For example, we developed the Ford Shelby GR-1 concept vehicle’s totally unique instrument cluster featuring fiber-optic lighting and miniaturized electronics.
GLOBAL SUPPLY
Maxima draws upon all its resources and supplier-partners to ensure the best results for our global customers, thereby leveraging all our capabilities as a full-service supplier.
