CURRENT OPENINGS

Global Sourcing Specialist
Sourcing specialist (buyer) will identify, qualify and source products from suppliers globally in support of Maxima's operations.  Prior global sourcing experience is required, and it is expected that the candidate shall demonstrate strong negotiations, communications and organizational skills, as well as operate comfortably and efficiently in a team environment.  Strong attention to detail and technical computer skills in Microsoft Office is also required.  BS degree in Business Administration and/or a related discipline, prior experience in a manufacturing operation, bi-lingual capability and willingness to travel are all preferred attributes.

Global Electronics Applications Engineer
Electronics engineer will be responsible for applications related to company's standard products for global OEM and aftermarket customers.  "Applications", in this context, pertain to support for development, installations, field testing, troubleshooting, continual improvement initiatives and technical support for systems integration.  Additionally, position requires project management experience, excellent communications skills and liaisons with external and internal customers, as well as planning and implementation teams.  Electrical engineering degree and at least two years experience is required.  Current or prior employment with a manufacturing company is a plus.

Embedded Systems Engineer
Systems engineer will be responsible for embedded software development, to include definition of requirements, design, implementation and verification, as well as system validation.  Candidate is expected to develop funtional specifications and translate them into software requirements; plan and monitor progress against program objectives and milestones; document designs; liaison with suppliers; and set-up, perform and document software-related tests on components.   BSEE, BSEET or BSCE and 4-6 years of embedded software design experience required.  Candidate must demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in C programming language, and be skilled in using software development tools for embedded microcontrollers.  Additionally, candidate must knowledgeable in the areas of embedded hardware design and architecture, as well as supporting tools for testing and simulation.

Accounts Receivable Analyst
Accounts receivable analyst will apply cash, process invoices, research and resolve supplier/customer issues and discepancies, and support month-end accounts receivable reconciliations.  Candidate must have a BS degree in Accounting and 3-6 years of experience in a similar position, as well as strong computer skills. Good communications skills are also required, as the position requires ongoing interaction with external and internal customers.

Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Specialist

SOX Specialist will assist in managing audits and developing conclusions and recommendations for process improvements. He/she will prepare written reports and make presentations to management, plus provide input to the development of an Annual Internal Audit Plan.  Additionally, individual shall develop and maintain client-management relationships.  BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration is required, along with a working knowledge of internal control concepts and U.S. GAAP requirements.  Previous experience with SOX compliance is preferred.  CPA/CIA certification, or progress towards such as certification, is also preferred.  Experience in a manufacturing operation is a plus. 

Applications Engineer for Maxima Technologies-China (MTC)
NOTE: This opening is for China only. Applications engineer will evaluate customer requirements for standard and custom vehicle instrumentation, select and recommend products, develop and maintain documentation, troubleshoot problems, train customer personnel, identify new opportunities that can be turned into sales prospects, serve as liaison between the customer and Maxima, provide support for specific projects and assist with planning and implementation.  Candidate must be motivated, energetic, technical, self-directed and organized with excellent communications skills—verbal and written—capable of working in a team environment for a growing, progressive, process-oriented enterprise.  Knowledge of electronics and soldering processes for both through-hole and SMT components is a plus.  Familiarity with agricultural and construction equipment is desired.

B.S. degree in engineering, preferably electronics, is required.  Candidate must be bilingual: Chinese and English is mandatory.
